75th Independence Day Celebration
Description: 75th Independence Day Celebration Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School celebrated the 75th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor. The teachers and students assembled for the flag hoisting ceremony and the tricolor was hoisted by the Principal, followed by the National Anthem which was presented by the school choir. A short cultural program was organized on this occasion. Children of Primary and Secondary sections paid befitting tributes to the martyrs through songs and dance presentations. Kautilya Bhatt, Aditi Ojha,Ritishka Mukherjee and Tanuja Pandey of the Primary section won the hearts of the audience with their lively and enthralling performances. Mrs Madhuri Srivastava gave a very informative and detailed account of the significance of this glorious day. An inspiring poem was recited by MrsPratibha Mishra. A number of songs and dances were presented by the senior students to pay glowing tributes to the freedom fighters of our motherland. Suhani Singh of class 10B,Shashwat Srivastava of 11 A, Mahima Shukla of 12 B, Adarsh Srivastava of 12 C, Yeeshu Yadav and Depika Pandey of 12 D presented some melodious patriotic songs. Shaumik Mukherji of class 10 D gave a very energetic performance on drums. Special mention of Siddhi Mishra of class 4 A was made on this occasion for winning the silver medal in Karate, at the State level competition in Lucknow. Yash Raj Srivastava of class 10 A and Tanishk Srivastava of 10 B were lauded for designing a Web series on “Ancient Gurus of India and their contribution in the field of education”. These children represented the Heritage Club of the school and were awarded certificates by the Principal to acknowledge their hardwork and sincere efforts. The cultural program ended with a mesmerizing dance recital by Ms Ahona Bhattacharya of class 11 D. The entire program was conducted by Mrs.Neeta Sarkar and the vote of thanks was also proposed by her. Overall it was a very well organized program which included very apt cultural items befitting the occasion.
