Celebrating India: A Tapestry of Unity and Pride

Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj, celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 with great patriotic fervour, dignity, and enthusiasm.

The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Manmohan Krishna, Former HOD, Department of Economics, University of Allahabad and Hon. Professor, NITI Aayog. The event was held in the esteemed presence of Shri Pradeep Mukherjee, President; Prof. Ashim Mukherjee, Vice President; Shri Amit Neogy, Manager; Mrs. Dolly Banerjee, Principal; and distinguished members of JTES.

The celebration showcased a vibrant line-up including Flag Hoisting, March Past, Tri-Colour Tales, Patriotic Choir, addresses by Head Girl Drishna Dubey and Head Boy Aabhas Rai, along with thematic presentations — Our Heroes of India, Anandmath, Sourya Veer, and ???? ??? ???? ??. The highlight was the Inter-House Drill Competition.

* Vivekananda House bagged the Winner’s Trophy, while Subhash House secured the Runners-up position.

The grandeur of the celebration was a direct reflection of the meticulous planning and visionary leadership of the Principal, Mrs. Dolly Banerjee. This vision was brought to life through the dedicated efforts of the teaching faculty, along with the committed support of the administrative and non-teaching staff. Their teamwork transformed the occasion into a befitting tribute to India’s freedom, diversity, and unity.
