Bird Conservation Campaign organized in Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School
Under the campaign 'Jeevan Unka Pani Hai', an awareness campaign was started in Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School under the joint aegis of Golden Jubilee School and Dainik Jagran to protect the lives of birds from the scorching heat. In this campaign, various measures for the protection of birds were discussed with the students and teachers.
In the campaign, it was told that birds need more water in summers. Provide them with sufficient water for drinking and bathing. Keep the water pot in a shady place and clean it regularly. Fill 1-2 inches of water in the birdbath, so that the birds can easily land in it. You can also keep stones or twigs in the water so that the birds can sit easily. Students participated enthusiastically in this campaign and also took a pledge to protect and preserve the birds. Students like Riddhi Singh, Ojaswi Yadav, Ishita, Pihu Sahu, Anika Jaiswal, Shriya Das, Riddhi Goswami, Ayushman Goswami, Pragyan Singh, Divya Singh etc. made beautiful water pots for this purpose and donated them to the school and took a meaningful initiative by playing their part in bird conservation.
The school's Principal, Smt. Sushmita Kanungo said, "It is important for us to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to protect the birds from the heat so that they can stay healthy and safe." Secondary coordinator Shubhra Ghosh, primary coordinator Smita Samaddar, teachers Divya Mishra, Shalini Ganguly, Shobhana Srivastava etc. were present in this campaign.
