Description: JAGAT TARAN GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOOL CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOUR ( India at 78 : Marching towards a brighter tomorrow) “Beneath a canvas painted hues of blue, Where knowledge blooms and spirits soar anew, Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee's grace, Unfurled the tricolour, a nation's embrace.” On August 15, 2024, Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School commemorated India's 78th Independence Day with unparalleled fervor and zeal. The auspicious occasion commenced with a ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, accompanied by the resonant strains of the national anthem, inspiring a sense of unity and pride among the assembled students, faculty, and staff. A reverent moment of silence was observed to honor the valiant sacrifices of innumerable freedom fighters who had ardently strived for the nation's liberation. This auspicious occasion was followed by a mesmerizing array of cultural events showcasing the students' remarkable artistic talent and nationalistic ardor. The program featured soul-stirring renditions of patriotic songs, intricately choreographed dance performances and a poignant skit based on the theme of JallianwalaBagh Massacre imbued everyone with the spirit of valour and patriotism . Anubhav Mishra of class 11 A1 recited a patriotic poem ‘Azadi Kaise Paayi Hai’ filled the entire atrium to the brim with the essence of heroism. A thought-provoking speech by Shri Pradeep Mukherjee (the President, JTGJS) delved into the essence of freedom, inspiring the young minds to embrace their roles as responsible citizens. His address served as a reminder of the duties that accompany the rights enshrined in our constitution. The school principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, in her address, delivered a stirring oration, elucidating the significance of Independence Day and emphasizing the imperative for the younger generation to emulate the ideals of the nation's visionary founding fathers. She exhorted the students to strive for excellence, cultivate a sense of civic responsibility and contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress. In conclusion, the Independence Day celebration at Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School was a resounding success, instilling a sense of national pride and responsibility in the hearts of its students and reaffirming the institution's commitment to foster a culture of patriotism and excellence. The programme was beautifully compered by Avika Jaiswal of 11 A1, Shreya Srivastava of 11 B, And Shraddha Singh of 11 B.
