The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) organizes various educational initiatives, including summer schools, to promote science and technology among students and educators. These programs aim to provide opportunities for learning, research, and interaction with eminent scientists.
A group of Class 12 students from Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School participated in the Summer School organized by the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) from 5th to 15th June 2025. The selected students were Shraddha Singh and Sneha Singh (12B), Avika Jaiswal and Mudit Kumar Srivastava (12A1). They were accompanied by their teachers Mr. Jitendra Pandey and Mr. Kapil Muni Dwivedi.
During the 10-day academic camp, students attended enriching lectures on a wide range of topics such as Structure of the Universe ,Galaxies, Plastics – Benefits and Harms, Mathematics in Nature, Bending of Light, Golden Ratio, Number System and Cryptography, Experiments in Psychology, Vanishing Ice, Microbiology, Positive Affirmations, and Stereochemistry.
The sessions were delivered by eminent resource persons including Prof. Kopila Thapa, Prof. O.P. Gupta, Prof. Anupam Pandey, Prof. Badal Singh, and Prof. S.S. Khare, whose insights inspired and engaged the young minds.
Students also visited important academic and scientific sites such as Ewing Christian College, the Botanical Garden and Zoological Museum of the University of Allahabad, and the Physics and Robotics Lab of IIIT Jhalwa.
The summer school was an excellent opportunity for students to explore interdisciplinary scientific concepts, interact with top academicians, and gain hands-on experience, significantly enhancing their scientific temperament and curiosity.
