Recognising the importance of overall personality development,Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School organized a visit to Gobind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute,Jhunsi , Prayagraj on 13.05.2025.

Students of class 10D,10E,11D & 12D(Humanities) accompanied by our teachers Nimisha Chatterjee,Rupa Mitra and Uma Dubey  visited the G.B.Pant Social Science Institute as a part of an educational tour aimed at enhancing academic exposure and understanding of social science research methodologies.

The visit began with a warm welcome by the faculty and administrative staff of the institute. Students were given an introductory presentation outlining the institute's history, research focus areas, and its contribution to policy-making and social development in India by Dr Archana Singh . The institute specializes in research related to rural development, education, health, governance, and socio-economic inequalities.

Students visited  the museum (Manav Vikas Sangrahaly) where they saw four galleries related to the Human civilization marginal groups and their cultural development. It was an informative and useful trip for the students.

The educational visit to G.B. Pant Social Science Institute was a valuable experience for the students, offering them exposure to real-world social research and encouraging academic curiosity. The hospitality and informative sessions provided by the institute were greatly appreciated by both students and teachers.

The visit concluded with a group photograph and a vote of thanks delivered by one of the student representatives. The experience proved to be educational and inspiring, motivating many students to consider careers in research and social science.
