"Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" – A Green Tribute by Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School"

In alignment with the visionary initiative of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), under the aegis of the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, the students and Eco Club members of
Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj enthusiastically celebrated “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”.This meaningful campaign encouraged students to plant a tree in the name of their mothers, symbolising love, respect, and gratitude towards Mother Earth and their own mothers. The event witnessed heartfelt participation, as students, accompanied by their mothers, planted saplings to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living. The initiative was wholeheartedly supported and appreciated by our Principal, Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, who emphasized the importance of nurturing nature just as a mother nurtures her child and lauded the students’ efforts in becoming responsible citizens and caretakers of the environment.
