Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School Celebrates The Annual Day With Grandeur

Prayagraj, 30th November 2024 –JagatTaran Golden Jubilee School markedanother milestone in the school's rich historyon the momentous occasion of its AnnualDay, celebrated with immense prideand enthusiasm on 30th November2024. The event, held at the school premises, was graced by HonourableJustice Saurabh Srivastava of the HighCourt of Allahabad as the Chief Guest. The event was further elevated by thepresence of three esteemed alumnias Guests of Honour: Shri AkshayBhargava, Assistant Commissioner(Provident Fund); Major Harsh Kumar,Assistant Registrar at Allahabad CentralUniversity and former Secretary ofNCERT, and Shri AbhinnShyam Gupta-Arjuna Awardee and InternationalShuttler.

The event commenced with the traditional Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by the Welcome of the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour with a ceremonial gesture of respect and appreciation.

The cultural proceedings began with a mesmerizing Welcome Dance, "Bhavanjali", performed by the students, followed by the School Anthem, echoing the spirit of unity and pride within the school community.

The Welcome Address was delivered by the President, Shri Pradeep Mukherjee, who expressed gratitude for the continued support of the school’s alumni and the remarkable growth of the institution. The audience was then treated to a soulful performance of "Shiv Shakti Tarang" (Song), setting a reverent mood for the rest of the evening.

One of the highlights of the cultural programme was the Kidventures Group Presentation, "Minnies on the Floor", a playful and engaging act that captivated the audience. Following this, the students presented a powerful Dance Performance, "Mai Naye Bharat KaChehraHoon", celebrating the spirit of the new India.

The Annual Report was presented by the School Principal, Mrs. SushmitaKanungo, outlining the achievements and growth of the school throughout the year. This was followed by the Felicitation of the Guests, where the dignitaries were honoured with mementoes and a heartfelt expression of gratitude.

A major highlight of the evening was the release of the school’s annual Souvenir, ‘Crescendo’, accompanied by a stunning display of fireworks, symbolizing the school’s achievements and the bright future ahead.

Major Harsh Kumar spoke about the importance of education and values in shaping future leaders.ShriAkshay Bhargava shared his insights on the evolving role of technology in education and the responsibility of the younger generation in shaping society.Shri AbhinnShyam Gupta encouraged the students to pursue excellence in their chosen fields, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and dedication.

The most awaited address of the evening was delivered by the Chief Guest, Honourable Justice Saurabh Srivastava, who spoke on the significance of education in the modern world, the importance of ethics, and the role of the youth in nation-building.

The students also presented a series of performances, including the "Driven Divas" House Presentation, a vibrant display of talent and teamwork. The audience was then serenaded with a mellifluous RabindraSangeet followed by the patriotic performance of Atulya Bharat, evoking a deep sense of national pride.

The evening also featured a Speech by the Head Boy and Head Girl, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the student body and reflected on the year gone by. The performances continued with a creative Mime and an energetic Aerobics routine.The highlight was the serene and devotional Krishnamrit performance, which was well received by the audience.

The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Shri Sanjeev Chanda, the Secretary, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the galaxy of luminaries for their benign presence at the event. He alsoacknowledged the hard work of the students, staff, and parents in making the celebration a success.

Finally, the event closed with the National Anthem, bringing the gathering together in a shared moment of patriotism.The Annual Day celebration was a grand success, showcasing the immense talent of the students and the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
