JT GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOOL CELEBRATES LAGACY AND INNOVATION

(Grandparents Day Tributes Merge With Spectacular Maths, Science, Art & IT Exhibition)

Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, a paragon of academic excellence celebrated a poignant Grandparents Day on 28th September, 2024 paying tribute to the sagacity and enduring influence of grandparents. The event  brought together students , parents and grandparents in a joyous convergence of generations.

The Chief Guest for this occasion was Prof. Swatantra  Bala Sharma, the Rtd. Prof. & HOD of Music Dept. , Allahabad University and the Rtd. Vice- Chancellor of RMT Music and Arts , University of Gwalior. Ms. Ruchi Mittal , the Director of Ruchi Institute of Creative Arts was the Special Guest.

The festivities commenced with the lighting of the lamp  by the Chief Guest, the esteemed  members of the management committee and the school Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo. The Chief Guest was felicitated with the memento by the President, JTES. Ms. Ruchi Mittal was felicitated by the school Principal with a planter.

The school Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo welcomed the Chief Guest Prof. Swatantra  Bala Sharma, Shri Pradeep Mukherjee, the President, JTES, Shri Aseem Mukherjee, the Vice- President,   Shri Sanjeev Chanda, the Secretary, all assembled dignitaries and the grandparents of students. Mrs. Kanungo, in her welcome address  emphasized the significance of intergenerational relationships in fostering emotional intelligence and cultural heritage. Grandparents embody the wisdom of yesteryears, guiding us towards a brighter future," she remarked.

The tiny-tots of the Primary section  honored their grandparents with heartfelt programmes , expressing gratitude for their unwavering support.

The Chief Guest Prof. Swatantra Sharma, in her insightful keynote address, highlighted the importance of intergenerational bonding in promoting mental well-being and social cohesion. She  eulogized  the sagacity and enduring influence of elderly family members.

The tiny-tots showcased mesmerizing performances such as Twinkle Toes( a dance performance) , Natkhat Kathputli Ki Duniya ( a puppet show) , Kartavyapath ( a musical act), a breathtaking display of Martial Arts, Fashion Show , Qawwali etc. The students also organized a game show extolling grandparents' virtues. The programme was immersed with heartfelt speeches and felicitations expressing gratitude for grandparents' unwavering support.

Shri Pradeep Mukherjee in his address acknowledged the pivotal role of grandparents in shaping the career and future of these little kids. He said that grandparents instill the moral values and ethics in these young minds.  

Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School's Grandparents Day celebration was a resounding success, reinforcing the institution's commitment to family values and community engagement. The event brought together students, parents, and grandparents in a joyous convergence. Mrs. Smita Samaddar, the Primary section Coordinator proposed her Vote of thanks .

As students, parents, and grandparents parted ways, the event's enduring legacy remained  a testament to the transformative power of intergenerational connections.

The celebration culminated with the National Anthem.

In the second session, the school organized a captivating Maths, Science, Art, and IT exhibition, showcasing the creative prowess and innovative spirit of its students. The exhibition was a Symphony of Ingenuity and Creativity and also a  testament to the school's commitment to fostering interdisciplinary learning, integrating theoretical concepts with practical applications. Students from various grades showcased their projects, models, and artwork, demonstrating an impressive grasp of mathematical and scientific principles.

Pro. Ishwar Chandra Agrawal, the Former Director of MNNIT, Prayagraj was the Chief Guest for this occasion.

The exhibition featured an impressive array of innovative projects, models, and artwork, exemplifying students' profound grasp of mathematical and scientific principles. Interactive mathematical models elucidating complex algebraic and geometric concepts, scientific experiments illustrating fundamental principles of physics, chemistry, and biology, and environmental conservation models promoting sustainable development, were among the notable exhibits.

Maths  Exhibition featured Spiro graph, a replica of Kutub minar, Gutt's Future Theorem, Uses of similarity, 32 soilder games, Isometric Geo board, Napier' bones, sand Art, Trigonometric park, marble race, parallel lines etc

The Science Exhibition featured innovative projects including Hydraulic pressure Crane, Mechanical Solar System, Buzz Games, Greenhouse Farming, Seismograph, Automatic Brake System,  Rocket, , Transmission Line Fault Detection, Water Treatment, Lighting Conductor, Gobar Gas, Working Robot, Electricity Generator, Obstacle Avoiding Car etc. These  scientific experiments showcasing  Environmental conservation models promoting sustainability and  principles of physics, chemistry, and biology were a feast to behold.

The art section displayed an array of creative expressions, including face painting, newspaper dress modeling,   vibrant paintings and sketches reflecting social awareness themes.

The IT section showcased technical proficiency and prowess of students and displayed wonderful projects such as Fire Fighter Robot, Chatbot, Chess Game, 360° view of school building etc.

The Chief Guest Prof. Ishwar Chandra Agrawal inaugurated the exhibition, praising the students' ingenuity and creativity. "This exhibition is a shining example of the school's dedication to nurturing young minds," the Chief Guest remarked.

The jury of this exhibition was comprised of Dr. Santosh Kumar Shukla , the Executive Secretary of NASI, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Shukla, Asst. Prof. Applied Sciences Dept. , United Institute of Technology and Shri Gaurav Narayan Singh Asst. Prof. Computer Sciences Dept. , United Institute of Technology.

The school Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, emphasized the significance of such events. She said that the  aim of the school is to provide a platform for students to explore, experiment, and express themselves, preparing them for a dynamic, technology-driven world.

Shri Pradeep Mukherjee, the President, JTES praised the students' exceptional creativity and technical acumen and said that the exhibition was an eminent extravaganza of innovation and creativity.  He  lauded  the students' outstanding work and said that this exhibition is a testament to the school's unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds and  such events foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

On this occasion , a large number of parents , students along with their teachers and coordinators were present.
