Grandparents’ Day Celebrated with Warmth and Joy at Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee SchoolPrayagraj, September 19, 2026: Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great warmth and enthusiasm, bringing together the little ones of Pre-Primary to Class 2 and their beloved grandparents for a memorable celebration of love, values and family bonds.The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and grandparents. The Principal, Mrs. Dolly Banerjee, highlighted the invaluable role of grandparents in nurturing children with love, wisdom and values, and emphasised the importance of keeping the bond between generations strong.The young performers won everyone’s hearts with a soulful Shiv Vandana and a series of vibrant cultural presentations. The ‘Dada-Dadi vs Smartphone’ skit brought out, with humour and sensitivity, the need to preserve meaningful family interactions in the digital age. The graceful dance presentation ‘Rishton Ki Roshni’ beautifully celebrated the warmth and strength of family relationships.The grandparents also enthusiastically participated in fun-filled games, including the popular Bollywood song-guessing activity, creating an atmosphere of laughter and togetherness.The occasion was graced by Mayor Shri Ganesh Kesarwani, Corporator Shri Ashish Diwedi and Corporator Shri Anand Ghildiyal. School President Shri Pradeep Mukherjee, Secretary Shri Sanjeev Chanda, Manager Shri Amit Neogi, Treasurer Shri Shankar Chaterjee, Shri Anjan Palit and other members of the management committee also extended their warm presence and encouragement to the children and grandparents. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
