From Ballot to Badge:Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School celebrates Democratic Leadership 

Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School proudly held its Investiture Ceremony for 2026–27 on 1 August 2026, marking the successful conclusion of its inaugural Student Council elections. The event was honoured by Major General Dharm Raj Rai, SM, VSM, as Chief Guest, and Dr. Pawan Kumar Pachori as Guest of Honour. Also present were Vice Presidents Prof. Ashim Mukherjee and Dr. Probal Neogi, Manager Shri Amit Kumar Neogy, Principal Mrs. Dolly Banerjee, and members of the Management Committee. Envisaged by the Principal, the transparent electoral process enabled students to elect their representatives democratically.

The stage, creatively adorned with the original election symbols, beautifully reflected the spirit of democracy. Aabhas Rai and Drishna Dubey were invested as Head Boy and Head Girl. The newly elected Student Council, house office-bearers, prefects and club office-bearers received their badges and sashes and pledged to serve with integrity, responsibility and dedication.
