Description: To educate and train the students for an unforeseen emergency like fire or any other natural calamity, Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School conducted a mock exercise and evacuation drill on 1st March 2023. The students were asked to leave their classrooms and evacuate the buildings, immediately after the siren. Guided by the teachers, the students gathered in the playground – the allotted safe zone. Following all the safety measures, the entire primary, middle and senior wing buildings were successfully cleared within a span of 5 minutes. The drill was organised to check the readiness of the school to face such emergencies during any natural calamity and also to make the students and staff aware about the Fire Fighting rescue operation and its procedure. These mock drills help in meeting the challenges in adverse situations and in coping with the situation during the time of natural and man-made disaster.
