  • Annual Science, Maths, IT, Art and Craft & Millet Exhibition

    Description:

    The Central Board of Secondary Education has been taking many initiatives to generate curiosity and develop scientific attitude amongst learners and to encourage learners to create, innovate and also to become more responsible.
    Keeping in view the above mentioned objectives , Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School organized its Annual Science, Maths, IT, Art and Craft & Millet Exhibition on 31st October 2023. A number of students from all the classes participated in the exhibition. The chief guest for the event was the eminent scientist of India Shri Mahesh Chattopadhyay, Ex- Dean , Science Faculty, Allahabad University . The distinguished guests were Shri S.S. Tripathi,
    Rtd. Maths teacher, ECC and Shri Anjan Mittra , G. B member of ABIC.
    The Annual Exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest . All the students, parents & teachers enthusiastically participated in it.
    Following are the details of the Models and Projects presented by the students representing the Science, Maths, IT and Art & Craft club of the school.

    Science Exhibition:
    The Science Exhibition was for classes 1 to 12. Classes 1 and 2 displayed their models and charts. Classes 3 to 12 presented their working/ non working models, charts etc. Models of heart, lungs, solar hydropower, greenhouse effect, automatic parking, hydraulic crane, wastewater treatment, volcanic eruption and many more were built by the
    students. Mrs. Renu Bajaj, Retired Chemistry Teacher, Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee school and Ms. Sunanda Das, Associate Professor Chemistry, CMP Degree College, along with the Principal Ms. Sushmita Kanungo went around looking at the different models designed by the students and judged the descriptions and presentations given by the students.

    Maths Exhibition:
    Classes 1 to 12 participated in the Maths Exhibition which displayed very interesting and innovative ideas through their Projects. Some of the prominent and interesting models presented by the students were- Geodisical ball, Shakuni k paase, Periscope, Magnetic Geometry, Magic Board, Tower of Hanoi, Maths city etc. The models, charts and projects presented in the Maths Exhibition were judged by Mr Ashish Srivastava, Lecturer ABIC,
    Ms Saloni Mehrotra, Principal P. S. Sahlolwa, Karchana.

    It is with great pride and excitement we announce the recent achievement in the world of mathematics. Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School has secured a patent for an innovative Maths model under the able guidance of Dr Swapna Mukherjee and Mrs Ankita Lahiri which promises to revolutionise the way we teach mathematical concepts. The patenting of the model would not have been possible without the support and initiative taken by our Principal Mrs Sushmita Kanungo.
    We are honoured to witness this momentous achievement and extend our warm congratulations to the teachers, it is not only their personal triumph but also a moment of celebration for the entire Golden Jubilee family.

    IT Club Exhibition:
    It was the very first exhibition presented by the IT club. Students of classes 3 to 12 participated enthusiastically in the display. Classes 3 to 5 displayed their charts and models. Classes 6 to 8 presented impressive Models of Robots and Computer- Museums. Classes 9 to 10 presented facts on Mobile Generation and IT Professionals. Students of classes 11 and 12 displayed Networking in Smart City. It was judged by Mr Nitin Pradhan, Principal MVM Jhunsi and Ms. Divya Goswami from YMCA Centenary School.

    Art and Craft Exhibition:
    Children of all the classes beautifully displayed various articles like Wall Hangings, Rangoli, Pots Painting, Aluminium foil Craft and many more.

    Millets Exhibition
    With the theme to celebrate International Millets Year, the school organised a Millets Exhibition in which students displayed their culinary skills by preparing khichadi, gulab jamun, idli, namkeen etc by using variety of millets like jwar, bajra etc. It was really a very innovative and nutritious way to develop a healthy habit along with taste.
    Apart from models, the students also organised visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their working models.
