National Mathematics Day was celebrated in Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School on 22 December, 2023 with an objective of creating awareness about the importance of Mathematics in day to day life situations.
The celebration of Maths Week commenced from 18 December and continued till 24 December. Various activities and Competitions were organised in the school. An online quiz First in Maths was organised in collaboration with Sahodaya School Complex.
As a part of celebration a small skit on the importance of numbers was shown in the assembly by the children of primary and middle school. The Vice-president of the Maths club delivered a speech on the great Mathematician Ramanujan. Maths Relay Race competition was organized by the Maths club in two categories. First category was for classes 1 to 4 and the second category was for classes 5 to 8. Children of class 9th and 11th participated in . The programme was enjoyed by the participants and other students. The School Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, also graced the occasion and encouraged students to participate in such activities.
