INTER-HOUSE REPORT (2018-19) Basketball The Inter-House Basketball competition was organized from 19th September,2018 to 22nd, September,2018. The semi-final matches were between Blue and Red house and Green and Yellow house. The Blue house and the Yellow house were the winners of the semi-final matches and entered into the finals. In the girls’ category, the matches were between the Blue and the Green house and the Red and the Yellow house and the finalists were Blue and Red house. The final match was very intense as Blue house lost the match by a single point and Red House was the winner. The Best Player award was given to Minir Tripathi and Divya Yadav, jointly. Cricket Match A Cricket match was organized for all the sections of class 6th. The highly energetic children competed against each other to win. The semifinal matches were set up between class 6th - A and class 6th -B and class 6th -C and class 6th -D. The winners of the semi-final matches were class 6th -A and class 6th -C and both the houses entered into the final round. With great effort class 6th -C managed to achieve victory. The best player award was given to Nishant and Adarsh jointly. Volleyball The Inter-House Volleyball Competition was held for boys from September 27th to 29th, 2018. The Semi-final matches were between Blue house and Green house and Red house and Yellow house. Blue and Yellow house won the semi-final match and entered into the final round. Blue house won the match and made everyone proud. The best player award was given to Anshuman Srivastava. Throw ball The Inter-House Throw Ball Competition was organized for girls from September 24th to 26th, 2018. The girls showed their talent in these very challenging matches. The semi-final matches were between Red house and Green house and Blue house and Yellow house which led to the victory of Blue house and the Green house which were the winners entered into the finals. Blue house won the final match. The Best Player award was given to Shriya Singh. Kho-Kho The Inter-House Kho-Kho competition was organized for classes 7th and 8th from September 11th to 14th ,2018. The semi-final matches were between Blue house and Yellow house and Green house and Red house in the boys’ category and Red house and the Yellow house and Blue house and the Green house in the girls’ category. The winners of semifinal matches were Blue house and Green house in the Boys’ category and Yellow house and Green house in the girls’ category. These houses entered the finals and after a tough fight Blue house in the boys’ category and Yellow house in the girls’ category, won the tournament. INTER- SCHOOL SPORT EVENTS REPORT 2018-19 J.T. Golden Jubilee School encourages all its students to participate in every sport event both inside and outside the school. Our school participated in many inter school sports events of games like basketball, volleyball, cricket, table tennis and kho-kho. Basketball o Bishop Johnson School had organized an inter- school basketball match and our school participated and played against KVIIIT. o The school Basketball team also participated in ALFRESCO 2k18 hosted by BHS and played it against HTS on 2nd November. o The school Basketball team also participated in HARMONY 2k18 hosted by DPPS on 16th November against DPPS team. VolleyballSMPPS had organized an inter-school volleyball tournament and our school volleyball team participated and played against SMPPS. Kho-Kho Both the boys’ and the girls’ kho-kho team participated in CBSE cluster held in Tagore Public School.The Boys’ team reached the quarter finals. The Girls’ team brought laurels to the school by securing the 3rd position out of 65 team and won the bronze medal. Basketball Our school basketball team captain Mihir Tripathi (12th -B) got selected in the Senior State Level team of Allahabad (Prayagraj). He played matches against Saharanpur and Bijnor which were held in Gorakhpur. He was the top scorer in all the inter school matches. VolleyballOur school volleyball team captain, Shyam Mani Shukla got selected in the district level team.
