    Description
    J. T. Golden Jubilee School Celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and 116th birth anniversary of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on 2nd October, 2019. The programme is commenced with a soothing and devotional prayer song Vaishnav Jan to Tene Kahiye. Commemorating the birth anniversaries of these two iconic, farsighted and charismatic leaders, the school organized various programmes such as essay writing competition, poster making competition etc. The students expressed their views on truth and ahimsha through their paintings and essays. A group of school students visited Chandra Shekhar Azad Park to perform various programmes to spread awareness among the people about the harmful effects of polythene and plastic. The students pledged to make the environment plastic free and inculcate the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi. The school Principal Ms. Indrani Gupta welcomed the gathering and encouraged the students to follow the footprints of Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri who were an epitome of simplicity, patriotism and honesty.

    We celebrate Teachers Day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Second President of India and above all the teachers. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as Teachers Day. Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School celebrated Teachers Day with zeal and zest. On 5th Sept, 2019, there was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. All the students, first of all, celebrated teachers day in their own classes by presenting gifts and flowers as a token of appreciation to their teachers. Thereafter, a friendly cricket match organized between teachers and students in which teachers team won the match. Then it was followed by grand teachers day celebration by the students in the school auditorium. The programme commenced with a speech given by Akash Sinha of class IX, thanking all the teachers for their exemplary contribution and catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. The next was a mesmerizing dance performance on Ganesha Vandana by the tiny-tots. Then the children enacted beautifully in the mime based on Pulwama Attack. The school band, thereafter, enthralled everyone present there with the wonderful performance. The teachers day celebration concluded by cutting the cake by our respected Principal maam. Teachers Day is to honour and acknowledge the contribution made by countless number of teachers in helping and moulding the careers of students and shaping the destiny of India. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan has rightly said, True teachers are those who help us think for ourselves.

    Description
    Hindi, the official language of India is the unifying factor which binds Indians together in the feeling of brotherhood. It is the language that represents India across the globe. To mark the anniversary of Hindi being declared as Indias national official language, J.T. Golden Jubilee School invoked the feeling of linguistic patriotism and celebrated Hindi Diwas by organizing an Inter-School Competition on 14th September, 2019. The competition included a plethora of events such as Poetry Recitation in different genres (Ancient and Modern), Stylised singing, Question Answer session, Portrait Making, self composed Poetry, Inter Class Quiz followed by the Jury expressing their opinions on the above mentioned events. Dr. Rashmi Kumar (Rtd. Associate Prof. Hindi Department C.M.P. Degree College) presided over the function as the Chief Guest the Guest of Honour was Mr. Arjun Singh, Deputy BSA. Ms. Indrani Gupta, the school Principal offered a warm welcome to the Chief Guests with bouquet and memento. 147 students of 21 esteemed CBSE Schools of Allahabad actively participated in it. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Honble Chief Guest escorted by the other dignitaries. The jury for the events consisted of Shri Yogendra Kumar Mishra Vishwa Bandhu, Shri Shambhu Nath Tripathi Anshul, Dr. Sanjay Purusharthi for Kavyanukriti. Shri Jaideep Ganguli and Dr. Ibha Sirothia for Shaily Gayan. Janab Ansar Saeed and Shri Asit Bhattacharya for Chavi Chitra. Smt. Neelam Srivastava and Shri Ishwar Saran Shukla for Varg Paheli and Swarachit Kavya Lekhan. The Chief Guest Dr. Rashmi Kumar in her speech said that no language is dearer to us than Hindi. She spoke about the Rajbhasha in the official level and our cultural Heritage. She also congratulated the Principal of J.T. Golden Jubilee School and staff for venturing such an initiative to celebrate Hindi Diwas, and propagating the Hindi language. The competition fostered the very essence of Indian culture and infused the realization of how sacred and important our mother tongue is for us. The students of the various CBSE schools enthusiastically showcased their linguistic skills. The competition was indeed very tough and the judges had a very hard time in choosing the winners. Every one waited with bated breath for the announcement of the final results. The winners of the various events were as follows : Kavyanukriti 1st : Garima Thakur Mahima Shukla J.T. Golden Jubilee scoring 544 points. The Runners-up Trophy went to Patanjali Rishikul with 500 points. The event was beautifully compered by Mrs. Madhuri Srivastava and at the end of the programme she expressed her vote of thanks with the hope that the students will continue to enrich the legacy of our Mother tongue Hindi. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
