Description: INVESTITURE CEREMONY 13TH AUGUST 2018 Leaders are the role models who inspire the followers and motivate reach the pinnacle of success. The Investiture Ceremony of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School for the academic year 2018-19 was held on 13th August in the school auditorium, Ravindralay. The ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes a path of wisdom and reaching heights. It was followed by a soulful rendition of a Saraswati Vandana by the School Choir. The school was privileged to have Shri Kalyan Kumar Ghosh, the President of J.T. Education Society, as the Chief Guest. The teachers and parents of the student council also attended the ceremony. The Chief Guest inducted the newly elected members of the school with the insignia of authority. Kashish Verma of XII B was appointed the Captain of the school while Chahat Yadav of XI E and Paridhi Pandy of XI A were bestowed the post of Vice Captain. The sport captain Saurabh Yadav and Vice-Captain, Shambhavi Singh were also awarded badges by the Chief Guest. The four house captains, namely, Shambhavi Gupta (XI C Red House), Mayank Shekhar (XI C Blue House), Marisha Dubey (XI D Green House) and Bhoomija Sharma (XE Yellow House) were awarded their badges by the Peincipal Ms. Indrani Gupta. The Vice Captains and the other office Bearers were honoured with their badges by their respective Co-ordinators. Mrs. N. Nag, the Red House Mistess inducted Soumya Srivastava XI C as Vice-Captain along with the other House Prefects. Mrs. M. Verma, the Red House Mistress inducted Shruti Tripathi XI C as Vice-Captain along with other House Prefects. Mrs. P. Mishra, the Red House Mistress inducted Shweta Shukla XI E as Vice-Captain along with the other House Prefects. Mrs. M. Srivastava, the Red House Mistress inducted Sukanya Singh XI C as Vice-Captain along with the other House Prefects. The Presidents and Vice-Presidents of all the activity Clubs were awarded their badges by their club in-charges. Mrs. Jaya Seth, the Eco Club Incharge, awarded badges to the President Ritambhara XII A and Vice-President Rudranshi Mishra XI E. Mr. S. Bose. The Art club Incharge awarded the badge to the President, Gargi of Xi E. Mr. M.M. Sinha, the Science club Incharge, honored the President, Pratyush Shukla of XII A and Vice-President Disha Mishra of XI A, with badges. The Literary Club Incharge, Mrs. A. Chatterjee, honored with badges, Jagriti Shukla of XII E as President and Shivani Pracheta of XI C as Vice-President. Mrs. S. Mukherjee, the Quiz and Cultural Activity Incharge awarded the badges to the President Shrey Tripathi of XII A and Vice-President Ayush Mishra of XI A. Mrs. N. Chatterjee presented the badge of the Heritage Club to the President, Bhawini Upadhyay of XI E. The Principal, Ms. Indrani Gupta, then administered the oath to the School Captain. The honorable Chief Guest congratulated the elected student council and gave an inspiring speech on the importance of leadership. The Principal congratulated the newly elected Office Bearers, motivated them and stressed on the importance of hard work and discipline. She urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity. The flags were then ceremoniously handed over to the Office Bearers. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. It was a memorable day for the school.

Description: HERITAGE CLUBS EXPEDITION TO GOVIND BALLABH PANT INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCE AT JHUNSI On 1st December 2017, 43 students and 2 teachers Mrs. S. Mitra and Mrs. S. Mukherjee of heritage club of J.T. Golden Jubilee School went for a trip to Manav Vikas Sangrahalaya, Museum of Ethnography and Socio-Economic Development at Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Social Sciences situated at Jhunsi near holy river Ganga. The museum portrayed the living, vibrant and dynamic aspect of Indian culture, folk and tradition. The museum had 4 galleries each promoting a different aspect of our culture. 1. Manav Vikas ki katha- This part of the museum portrayed the development of mankind and civilization, beginning from prehistoric age to the present, Replicas of paintings, statues and artefacts were displayed here. 2. GB Pant Gallery- This gallery show cased the life story and contribution of GB Pant and his vision regarding development of UP, This part also depicted every famous corner of Allahabad. 3. Kahe Gaile Bidesh Bhojpuri Culture- This gallery was a tribute to thousands of bonded laborers who were forced to migrate to countries like Netherlands, Mauritius, Fiji etc. It showed the relationship of the migrants with their folk culture in their homeland. 4. Ganga: The Eternal River- This gallery perfectly depicted the journey of majestic river Ganga from Gomukh to Ganga Sagar along with different cultures on its banks. After visiting all the galleries we sat for lunch in the park built inside the institute and enjoyed by playing some interesting games and thereafter we returned back from there happily.

Description: On the occasion of Childrens Day, a Science Mela was organized in the premises of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School under the aegis of I Science World. The mela was inaugurated by the Principal Ms. Indrani Gupta. The main objective of this science mela was to enhance the inquisitive scientific skills among the students. The students were provided valuable information about the solar system, galaxies, comets, steroids etc. in the mobile planetarium. The students also attended a lecture on Science-Learning by doing. The lecture was delivered by Dr. O.P. Gupta, a renowned physicist. The lecture aimed at low cost science activities to teach the children various concepts of science in an interesting manner. A quiz on Life on Antarctica was also conducted by the science teachers of the school Miss Shefali Verma and Mrs. Jaya Seth. The quiz comprised of a lecture delivered by Prof. Pramod W. Ramteke (P.G. Dean, SHUATS). The students attended the lecture with rapt attention. Prof. Teke, in his speech said that men should understand their intrinsic connection with nature and become the trustees of its legacy. It therefore, becomes incumbent on us to become more judicious towards nature. The programme was conducted under the keen observation of Mrs. Renu Bajaj and Mr. M.M. Sinha, Science teachers of the school. On this occasion Ritanshu Gupta, Director of I science world, and several prominent teachers of the school were present.
