Description: ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION The annual day function of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School was organized on Wednesday, the 5th of December, 2018, amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Mrs. Chanchal Mishra, Regional Sports Officer, Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium, was the Chief Guest. Among other dignitaries present were Mrs. Pushpa Srivastava (International Hockey Player), Sports Secretary, North Central Railway, Prayagraj and Mr. Kalyan Kumar Ghosh, President, Jagat Taran Education Society, Press, parents and students. The Programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Honble Chief Guest Mrs. Chanchal Mishra, escorted by the other dignitaries and the Principal, Ms. Indrani Gupta. A welcome song was presented by the school choir to welcome the Honble guest and other dignitaries. The Principal, Ms. Indrani Gupta, welcomed the guests and introduced the Honble Chief Guest to the gathering. She shared the schools annual report. The cultural programme comprised of an action song presented by the tiny tots of classes 1 and 2. This was entailed by an English play, enacted by the students of classes 3, 4 and 5. It was based on the theme of Cleanliness. It was then followed by Idgah- a story by Prem Chand, which was enacted beautifully by the students of classes 6, 7 and 8. Maharashtra Folk Dance Gondhal performed by the children, was a scintillating presentation of Indian culture and tradition. The students of the senior wing presented a mime depicting the increasing addiction of cell phones. Another dance recital depicting Women Empowerment was presented by the students of the secondary section which mesmerized everyone. The budding musical talents of the school played and rendered mellifluous songs. A solo song on Girl Child was also presented which enthralled one and all. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Chanchal Mishra, was superlative in her appreciation of the students, teachers and management for a classic Programme presented. She stated that she felt highly honoured and elated to have visited Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School. She lauded the vision and the relentless hard work done by students and their mentors for presenting such a message oriented Programme. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Neeta Sarkar. The Programme culminated with the National Anthem.

Description: Heritage report Its not the honour that you take with you but the heritage you leave behind. The Heritage week which was held from 8th Oct. to 11th Oct. included a series of events which again connected us with our heritage. Throughout the events we tried to involve ourselves in those events which are the heritage of one or the other place of our country like we included the Jatak and Panchatantra Stories Telling which got its origin or which was started from Bengal. During the time of Rabindranath Tagore, it was quite popular but now in the era of modernization we have started going far away from these little customs or rituals which were followed by our ancestors. Modernization doesnt mean that we shouldnt follow our culture and forget them. It means that we should take them to our future generation in a more systematic and organized way. Now I would like to mention the events which were held during the Heritage week. On 8th Oct. we had Jatak and Panchatantra Story Telling Competition for 6th std. students, in which Harshita Mishra from class 6-A got the 1st position, Vertika Mishra again from Class 6-A got the 2nd position and Switi Mishra from class 6-D got the 3rd position. The event was judged by Rashmi Maam and Pratibha Maam. On 10th Oct. we had 2 events. The first was an Interclass Puja Corner Decoration (Diwali Festival) for 7th and 8th std. students, in which 7-D got the 1st position, 7-A got the 2nd position and the 3rd position was taken by 7-C. It was judged by Rupa Kr. Maam and Anuradha Maam. Second one was a Doha Recitation contest for 8th std. students, which was judged by Stuti Maam and Madhu Wig Maam. In this event Smriti Srivastava from class 8-C got the 1st position. We had two students who got the 2nd position jointly Mayuresh Sahu from 8-A and Ayushi Singh from 8-B and Tanishq Tripathi from 8-B got 3rd position. On 11th Oct. we had 3 events. Ritual Art Painting Competition for 8th to 11th std. students. It was judged by Bose Sir, Sapna Maam and Goswami Sir. In which Kriti Patel and Anushka Gupta from 10-D got the 1st position, Kriti Pal and Ayushi Verma from 10-D got the 2nd position and Surabhi Singh from 10-D and Kajal Patel from 9-A got the 3rd position jointly. We had one consolation prize the winners of which were Rashi Mishra and Anushree Halder from 10-A. Puppet Making competition for 9th and 11th std. students. It was judged by Neeta Sarkar Maam, Jaya Maam and Subhra Maam. In which Muskan Chaurasia and Principal from 11th-D got the 1st position. Ankit Goel and Kshitiz Srivastava from 10th-D and Pragya Pandey and Trividha Shukla from 10th-D got the 2nd position jointly and Garima Sharma and Rishita Tiwari from 11th- A and Ishita Asthana and Sejal Srivastava from 9th and 11th-C got the 3rd position jointly. Interclass collage making for 10th std. Tribal Life Style of India. It was judged by Principal Maam and Rati maam.

Description: District Level National Childrens Science Congress - 2018 13th October/Allahabad District Level National Childrens Science Congress of CBSE and UP Board English medium schools was organized at the sprawling campus of J.T. Golden Jubilee School on Saturday, 13th October, 2018 in an ambience of bonhomie and goodwill. This Programme is an initiative taken by NCSC under the aegis of The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, endeavors to promote the scientific attitude among young budding students as well as to sharpen their inquisitive skills., The main theme of the competition was Science Technology and Innovation for clean, green healthy nation. About 120 students from 07 CBSE and UP Board English medium schools participated and presented many creative ideas with their outstanding projects relevant to todays times. The participating schools were as follows : 1. Ewing Christian Public School 2. Army Public School 3 J.T. Golden Jubilee School 4. R.R.B. Convent School 5. Allahabad Public School 6. Raja Kamalakar Inter College 7. Shri Mahaprabhu Public School The District coordinator of NCSC Dr. Mohd. Masood, explained the importance of cleanliness, health, hygiene and its concept to the students. He boosted the morale of young scientist and said that the effort of these future pillars of nation will definitely take our nation to the greater heights. An appreciable role was played by the eminent jury comprised of Dr. Babita Agarwal, Dr. Archana Pandey, Dr. Amita Pandey, Dr. Pramod Mishra and Mr Ashok Kulshrestha from CMP Degree College. Sinha announced that the Pre-State Level of NCSC will be held at Tagore Public School on October 31, 2018. On this occasion, Ms. Indrani Gupta, the Principal of J T Golden Jubilee School, appreciated the efforts of budding scientist and emphasized on continuous and comprehensive teaching of science, health and hygiene in schools and wished good luck to all the students selected for their Pre-state level.

Description: TRIBUTE TO MAHATMA GANDHI AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI ON 2ND OCT. 2018 On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi the school paid glowing tributes to the great legendary figures of the Indian National Movement. Shastri Janyati was also observed on 2nd October. The programme started with the garlanding of the portraits of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and the Ex-Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri by the students and the teachers. The celebration began with a speech by Paridhi Pandey highlighting the ideologies of Gandhi ji on ahimsa, tolerance and equality. Anjali Srivastava delivered a speech on the greatness of Shastri ji. A multi-religious prayer was organised in which the students presented gurbani, quawwali, hymn and the renowned bhajan Vaishnav Jan.... invoking the feelings of respect brotherhood and compassion among the students. The school also organised rangoli with flowers, leaves and vegetables. Their creativity and aesthetically presented rangolis with a perfectly balanced and well coordinated colour scheme reflecting the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi and Shastri ji and their impact on freedom struggle was highly appreciated by one and all. A cleanliness drive was also initiated by the school in which the students of secondary section enthusiastically participated. The senior secondary students along with their class teacher visited Chandra Shekhar Azad Park to clean it to mark the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The students of secondary section under the supervision of their class teachers cleaned the school premises with great zeal and dedication. Todays celebration received an overwhelming response from the students who participated in different activities wholeheartedly. The students of the middle section were shown a film on Mahatma Gandhi and they had an interactive session with Mr. Swapnil Srivastava, faculty Swaraj Vidyapeeth.

Description: TEACHERSDAY CELEBRATION The birth date of the second president of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, i.e. 5th September, 1888, has been celebrated as Teachers Day since 1962. Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School celebrated Teachers Day with zeal and zest. On 5th September, 2018, there was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. Teachers and students reported to school as usual but the usual activities were replaced by the activities of celebration, thanksgiving and remembrance. All the students, first of all, celebrated teachers day in their own classes by presenting bouquets and flowers as a token of appreciation to their teachers. On this special occasion, our school, which is aiming to play a vital role in spreading awareness about Swachhta Mission, also observed Swachhta Pakhwada from 1st to 15th September, 2018. Therefore, on 5th September 2018, the school observed Green School Drive. Following activities were conducted to enable the students to take mission of cleanliness: Tree plantation by Eco Club in the school. Best out of waste competition for students of classes 6,7 and 8. The aim of this competition was to show reuse of old material to make useful materials. An Essay Writing Competition for students of classes 9,10,11 and 12. A lecture on Recyclable and unrecyclable waste for students of classes 1 to 5. A short video was also shown in addition to the lecture. This activity aimed to make children learn about classification of Wastes. All the children whole heartedly participated in all the activities and had shown keen interest towards the mission of cleanliness. After observing Green School Drive, a cricket match was organised between the teachers and students. Tom Glazer once said, Participation is one of the best methods of educating. With this vision many teachers and students enthusiastically participated. It was then followed by grand teachers day celebration by the students. The programme commenced by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our honourable Principal Madam, Ms. Indrani Gupta and teachers. The children enacted beautifully on the Idgah, a story written by the famous Indian author Munshi Prem Chand. The students of the classes XI and XII presented an ad on Champaraswanti, which was highly praised by one and all. The next was a mesmerizing dance performance, named Gondal, which is a religious folk dance form of Maharashtra. The school band, thereafter, enthralled everyone present there with their wonderful performance. The school captain, Kashish Verma, gave a speech on this occasion, thanking all the teachers for their exemplary contribution and catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. The students also organised Antakshari among the teachers. The teachers day celebration concluded by cutting of the cake by our respected Principal Madam. Teachers Day is to honour and acknowledge the contribution made by countless number of teachers in helping and moulding the careers of lakhs of students and turn shaping the destiny of India. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan has rightly said. True teachers are those who help us think for ourselves.

Description: वे अभिमान है, स्वाभिमान है। वे सम्मान है, अनुराग है। वे सहज है, आशीष है। वे स्नेह है, साहित्य है। प्रखर राष्ट्रवादी भारत माता के सपूत अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी, जिन्होंने अपने व्यक्तित्व और कृतित्व से भारत का नाम पूरे विश्व में ऊँचा कर दिया। वे भारत के मध्यप्रदेश के ग्वालियर शहर में एक सामान्य शिक्षक के घर जन्मे एक ऐसे असामान्य व्यक्तित्व थे जिनकी उदारता और राजनीतिक श्रेष्ठता अद्वितीय थी। अटल जी प्रख्यात चितंक थे, उनकी दूरदृष्टि के सभी कायल थे। उनकी वाणी में प्राण और प्राण में प्रण था। वे भारतीय राजनीति में अजातशत्रु माने गए थे, क्योंकि वही एक ऐसे नेता थे जिनका कोई शत्रु नहीं और होता भी कैसे वे सबसे इतने गर्मजोशी से मिलते थे कि सब उन्हे अपना मान लेते थे। सही मायने वे भारतीय राजनीति के आकाश का ध्रुवतारा थे। हर राजनीतिक दल में उनकी स्वीकार्यता रही। राजनीति के भीष्म पितामह, अटल जी ने अपना हर पल राष्ट्र को समर्पित कर दिया था। स्नेहिल व्यक्तित्व, विलक्षण नेतृत्व, कुशल वक्तव्य और मनमोहक मुस्कान, उदारवादी दृष्टिकोण ने अटल जी को उन चुनिंदा हस्तियों में ला खड़ा किया, जिन्हें इतिहास भुला नही सकेगा। अटल जी बारह बार सांसद रहे और अलग-अलग राज्यों से चुनाव जीते। उनकी लोकप्रियता के कायल रहे पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री नवाज़ शरीफ ने कहा था कि अटल जी आप तो पाकिस्तान में भी चुनाव जीत जाएँगे। वे पहले व्यक्ति थे जिन्होंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ में हिन्दी में भाषण देकर पूरी दुनिया में हिन्दी का गौरव बढ़ाया। अटल जी की उत्कृष्ट सेवाओं के लिए 1992 में पद्म विभूषण, 1994 में लोकमान्य तिलक पुरस्कार श्रेष्ठतम् सांसद पुरस्कार और 2015 में भारतरत्न से सम्मानित किया गया। 2009 से स्वास्थ्य संबंधी गंभीर परेशानियों के चलते 16 अगस्त 2018 को वे हम सब को एक अटल शून्य पर छोड़ चिरनिद्रा में लीन हो गए। अटल जी का कहना था कि -मैं एक ऐसे भारत का सपना देखता हूँ, जो समृद्ध और शक्तिशाली हो। कर्तव्य शेष है जो - अब यह सपना है हमारा, जिसे करना पूरा हो लक्ष्य हमारा। और वो तो सिर्फ शरीर था जो चला गया। अटल जी तो थे, हैं; और हमेशा रहेंगे बनके हम - तुम वे सदैव जियेंगे।। दिनांक 23.08.2018 को जगत तारन गोल्डेन जुबिली स्कूल में भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री दिवंगत नेता अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि दी गयी। प्रधानाचार्या सुश्री इन्द्राणी गुप्ता तथा अन्य शिक्षिकाओं एवं विद्यार्थियों ने दिवंगत नेता के चित्र पर पुष्पार्चन किया। कक्षा 11सी की छात्रा सुकन्या सिंह ने उनके महान् व्यक्तित्व और कृतित्व पर प्रकाश डाला। मारिशा दुबे (11डी) ने भजन द्वारा उन्हें नमन किया। प्रज्वल श्रीवास्तव (12ए) ने उनकी चुनिंदा रचनाओं का पाठ किया।

Description: INVESTITURE CEREMONY PRIMARY SECTION - 2018-19 To be inspired is great, but to be an inspiration is an honour. With this spirit, 18th August 2018 witnessed the grand Investiture Ceremony of the Primary Section for the academic session 2018-19 in Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School Auditorium. Parents of the office bearers were invited to see the programme. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by our respected Principal, Ms. Indrani Gupta, followed by Saraswati Vandana sung by the school choir. All the captains and the vice captains of the various houses marched smartly to the stage, holding their respective flags. The Principal presented the badges to the House Captains in the following order- Red House - Tanisha Prabha Kishore, Captain and Kritya Shukla, Vice Captain. Green House-Ridhima Dwivedi , Captain and Vividisha Tripathi ,Vice Captain. Blue House - Ajinkya Sahu , Captain and Shambhavi Srivastava, Vice Captain. Yellow House - Udisha Srivastava, Captain and Divyansh Mishra, Vice Captain . Mrs. Ruma Mukherjee, Mrs. S. Dawson, Ms. R. Datta, Ms. P. Singh and Mrs. P. Wattal presented the badges to the Class Captains. The Principal administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers. She motivated the students by reminding them about the leadership qualities, which is all about influencing others by encouraging them. Mrs. Ruma Mukherjee proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

Description: Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School celebrated the nations 72nd Independence Day and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighters. The celebration began in the school premises with the unfurling of the Nation flag by the Principal, Ms. Indrani Gupta. It was then followed by a speech with patriotic zeal and fervor by the school captain. A patriotic song was performed by the school choir. The school band also gave a mesmerising performance. It was then followed by a pledge to make India clean and rid the country of the problems of poverty, corruption, terrorism and casteism. On the occasion of Independence Day, various Inter-house competitions were held in the school Auditorium. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. It was lighted by our respected Principal and distinguished judges. The Blue House gave its performance first, giving a tribute to those freedom fighters who fought for Indians Independence. The children portrayed the varied cultural and traditional dance forms observed in different State of India. Blue House performed the Bihu dance of Assam and the green house presented a colourful bhagra. The Red House depicted the beauty of South India along with a power point presentation. The Yellow House mesmerised everyone with the beautiful Gondhal which is a folk dance form in Western India. All the houses along with their enchanting performances presented different inspirational speeches given by the freedom fighters which evoked a feeling of patriotism among all present. The winners of the dance completion were announced and given prizes by the honourable judges. Ms. Shyamelee Sinha and Ms. Shreya Mukherjee. The winners are as follows : FIRST PRIZE YELLOW House SECOND PRISE RED HOUSE THIRD PRISE GREEN HOUSE The winners of the speech competition were announced and given prises by Ms. Namita Dutta and Mr. Alok, the respected judges. Last, but not the least, the vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Swapana Mukherjee, sho thanked the judges to grace the occasion. She also thanked all the children and teachrs for their efforts. As it is rightly said : Alone we can do little, together we can do so much. Thus, we celebrated the Independence Day in our school with great enthusiasm. This day always remind averyone of the untold sacrifices of the fighters of freedom. We should worship those patriots who shed their blood far achieving freedom. JAI HIND JAI BHARAT

Description: INVESTITURE CEREMONY 13TH AUGUST 2018 Leaders are the role models who inspire the followers and motivate reach the pinnacle of success. The Investiture Ceremony of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School for the academic year 2018-19 was held on 13th August in the school auditorium, Ravindralay. The ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes a path of wisdom and reaching heights. It was followed by a soulful rendition of a Saraswati Vandana by the School Choir. The school was privileged to have Shri Kalyan Kumar Ghosh, the President of J.T. Education Society, as the Chief Guest. The teachers and parents of the student council also attended the ceremony. The Chief Guest inducted the newly elected members of the school with the insignia of authority. Kashish Verma of XII B was appointed the Captain of the school while Chahat Yadav of XI E and Paridhi Pandy of XI A were bestowed the post of Vice Captain. The sport captain Saurabh Yadav and Vice-Captain, Shambhavi Singh were also awarded badges by the Chief Guest. The four house captains, namely, Shambhavi Gupta (XI C Red House), Mayank Shekhar (XI C Blue House), Marisha Dubey (XI D Green House) and Bhoomija Sharma (XE Yellow House) were awarded their badges by the Peincipal Ms. Indrani Gupta. The Vice Captains and the other office Bearers were honoured with their badges by their respective Co-ordinators. Mrs. N. Nag, the Red House Mistess inducted Soumya Srivastava XI C as Vice-Captain along with the other House Prefects. Mrs. M. Verma, the Red House Mistress inducted Shruti Tripathi XI C as Vice-Captain along with other House Prefects. Mrs. P. Mishra, the Red House Mistress inducted Shweta Shukla XI E as Vice-Captain along with the other House Prefects. Mrs. M. Srivastava, the Red House Mistress inducted Sukanya Singh XI C as Vice-Captain along with the other House Prefects. The Presidents and Vice-Presidents of all the activity Clubs were awarded their badges by their club in-charges. Mrs. Jaya Seth, the Eco Club Incharge, awarded badges to the President Ritambhara XII A and Vice-President Rudranshi Mishra XI E. Mr. S. Bose. The Art club Incharge awarded the badge to the President, Gargi of Xi E. Mr. M.M. Sinha, the Science club Incharge, honored the President, Pratyush Shukla of XII A and Vice-President Disha Mishra of XI A, with badges. The Literary Club Incharge, Mrs. A. Chatterjee, honored with badges, Jagriti Shukla of XII E as President and Shivani Pracheta of XI C as Vice-President. Mrs. S. Mukherjee, the Quiz and Cultural Activity Incharge awarded the badges to the President Shrey Tripathi of XII A and Vice-President Ayush Mishra of XI A. Mrs. N. Chatterjee presented the badge of the Heritage Club to the President, Bhawini Upadhyay of XI E. The Principal, Ms. Indrani Gupta, then administered the oath to the School Captain. The honorable Chief Guest congratulated the elected student council and gave an inspiring speech on the importance of leadership. The Principal congratulated the newly elected Office Bearers, motivated them and stressed on the importance of hard work and discipline. She urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity. The flags were then ceremoniously handed over to the Office Bearers. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. It was a memorable day for the school.
